Mary, Because we've begun posting about online writing, I thought I'd include here the beginning of a link trail into an important discussion on new methods for journalism taking place on several thought-leader's blogs.

Interviewees are now empowered with their own blogs, their own ability to speak to the public. Questions and answers can now be on separate blogs glued together with hyperlinks. Comments and links to and from other blogs allow the information to be corrected and amplified. This is a better way, the finished story becomes a summary, a table of contents to knowledge.
